DIY // Custom Cork Board – Ikea Hack
No matter if you are an “oh I forgot”, “in need of inspiration” or “like to keep it organized” person. Today’s DIY // Custom Cork Board – Ikea Hack will bring you a little bit of memory, inspiration, and organization to your empty wall. After I had completed my office, I realized that there was nothing I could simply pin a new business card to, or add a note – not to forget an appointment or even pin a pair or earrings that I may like to wear the next day.
The solution was a simple, affordable and stylish little cork board.

Here is what you need:
- Cork rounds are from IKEA ($2.99)
- Acrylic paint
- Paint brush
- A hammer
- 6 small nails
You can attach the cork rounds 3 other ways to your wall.
- first: by gluing them on the wall,
- second: by taping them on the wall, and
- third: by hanging them on the wall (simply attach some thick yarn to the cork and hang them on a nail)
