DIY // The Bench Makeover
What a fun little DIY // The Bench Makeover project this was, I am pretty sure that finding this cute bench on Friday was meant to be! As I told you guys before, I had planned on making a bench from scratch, but I just hadn’t gotten to it yet. Until, last weekend where I was spared to build the bench from scratch by finding one at my local goodwill.
DIY // The Bench Makeover
I summed all steps up for you in a picture gallery, with a short caption describing what I was doing. You will find all items I used for this makeover at the bottom of this post. Hope you enjoy it!
Items I used for this makeover:
- 1-yard upholstery fabric (Joann’s)
- Dritz Home 0.5” Wide x 20Yds Upholstery Tack Strip Natural
- Crown Galvanized Steel Staples
- Upholstery Dust Cover Fabric
- 14″ high wooden legs
Wow, that’s really impressive. I have no problem with the vision, but I’m utterly incapable of the DIY. Bravo to you!! Job well done… 🙂
Thank you Lory, I am very happy how it turned out. Don’t feel bad about not being able to DIY, you probably have some other great talents. We can’t have it all, right? 😉
Nice! I love the fabric you chose. 🙂
Thanks Sarah, I am so glad I found the fabric. It’s soft and makes the cushion super comfy.
Fun project! Love it!
