Craft Show // Central High School in Keller, TX
Hi friends, so last weekend I attended a craft show here in my hometown Keller, TX. I was excited about this show, because it seemed to be a fairly big one, however after my two days at the show I decided not to sign up for it next year (you’ll find more info about why in my Review and Rating section at the bottom).
Having said that this shown wasn’t successful for me, it may was for others better! But I am very happy to say that I met some quite interesting people who I hope to work with in the future!
I met Lauren while she was browsing at the craft show, after chatting with her I found out that she had a photography business called Chere Occasions right here in Keller, what a great timing that this sweet lady stopped by my booth.
Here is my review and rating for this Craft show:
REVIEW & RATING:
- Show Name: Central High School
- Location: Keller, TX
- Number of Vendors: about 100+
- Show duration: two-day-show
- Space size: 5×10 – 10×10 feet
- Space price: Regular Registration $85 – $135
- Electricity: available at an additional fee $15
- Security: none
- Admission: free to the public
- Advertisement: Banners in front of the school, advertised on Central High School website
- Lunch menu: One of the vendors was BBQing outside, but the $7 brisket sandwich I had was dry and had no flavor
- Parking: available behind the school
- Helping Volunteer: After asking one of the teachers for help, I was taken care of. However there was very limited help available at the end of the two-day show!
- Visitors: 1000+
- Recommendation: This show was about 5 minutes from my house, so I signed up for it. I won’t participate in this show next year, due to the lack of traffic flow, no entertainment for visitors, unorganized raffle and small advertisement.
- Star rating:
Hi! I’m new to doing craft shows. Are there any local ones that you would recommend this spring? I also live in the NE area of Fort Worth.
Thanks!
I recommend the one in Southlake called Southlake Carroll Senior High School, you can also find all my craft show review here.
Hi, my name is Lana Withee and I would like to be one of your vendors at your next craft show. I make hand crafted children items like cloth story books, baby quilts and children throw blankets, vests, and my own design Halloween and Christmas gift boots and some jewelry. Please send information
Please contact the school’s PTO regarding your request. I have moved from Keller since then and don’t have their contacts anymore.
