Detoxing made easy
I have been feeling very stressed, tired and bloated lately. So, when I came across the 3 day detox challenge over at foodmatters I just had to participate with the hopes of seeing some changes after!
I went to get the groceries this morning, here is the list of what you need for the entire 3 days:
- On Rinsing
- Breakfast
- Between Breakfast and Lunch
- Lunch
- Mid Afternoon
- Early Dinner
- Befor Bed
- Detox Summary
So, lets start with the rinsing before breakfast:
All I had to do is juice 1/2 a lemon and some ginger juice to my water. Simply squeeze some graded ginger root to get the juice out and half the lemon right into your water.
It tasted like lemon infused water with a little zing from the ginger.
After the rinsing I started on my breakfast, some kale, celery, cucumber and a lemon. The juicer took care of everything and this is what I had for breakfast!
And while I am writing this post I am sipping on a cup of chamomile tea…
