Milton & King Drawer Makeover + Bedroom Reveal
This Milton & King Drawer Makeover + Bedroom Reveal was brought to you by miltonandking.com This is not a sponsored post; all opinions are 100% my own.
After I build my Modern Farmhouse Style Dresser I felt like something was missing. The dresser is mainly used for delicate clothing like underwear and fine shirts, in order to protect them from laying on the exposed wood, wallpaper is a great option to keep clothing from ripping.
A while back Milton & King sent me a beautiful LEO’S SPOTS wallpaper designed by JILLIAN HARRIS for the Tastemaker Collection and the WHITEWASHED TIMBER from the KEMRA Collection.
For today’s makeover, I used the LEO’S SPOTS wallpaper for the inside of my drawers. This quick and easy makeover can be applied to any dresser, no matter if it’s a new or vintage dresser.

I was very impressed with the quality of Milton & Kings wallpaper, the paper has a nice feel, it’s not too thin or too thick. My favorite part about the wallpaper was that it didn’t give me any trouble to work with and I didn’t have to seal it with mod podge.
Mini Tutorial – How to apply wallpaper to a drawer:
Step. 1
Measure the inside of the drawer bottom, and transfer the measurements onto the backside of the wallpaper.
Step. 2
Cut out the measured area and place into the drawer to ensure the wallpaper fits. Adjust by cutting the wallpaper to make it fit.
Step. 3
Use a flat brush and matte paper craft mod podge to adhere the wallpaper to the bottom of each drawer.
Step. 4
Working in small sections is important so the mod podge won’t dry before the paper is placed on. Once the mod podge has been spread out, pressing the wallpaper on with your hands or a soft towel will leave no bubbles or marks.
Optional: No need to seal the wallpaper with mod podge since most wallpapers come sealed for protection purposes.
Hope this looks as easy as it was, and don’t be intimidated by wallpaper! Wish we could have used them on the walls, but since we are renting it’s not an option.
Since we moved I haven’t shared any pictures of the new place, and I know that some of you can’t wait to see it. SO, today I’ll be revealing the bedroom and hopefully, by next week I can show you the living or dining room + Kitchen.
Hope you enjoy, and please let me know what you think!
