My name is April — the seamstress behind Marine Parents. I am a lover of all things; including beautiful fabrics, flirty ruffles & simple designs. My husband taught me to sew {!!!} in early 2010, but neither of us ever dreamed that Marine Parents would become what it is now — a fantastically successful indie business through which I am able to share my passion, spiritual gifts & love language with others.

I adore creating hand-sewn items that are equally beautiful as they are useful. You’ll find my online boutique filled with softly ruffled & padded iPad & eReader sleeves, children & toddler-sized backpacks for carrying treasures galore, ruffled camera strap slipcovers & my signature military make-up bags {along with my new designer fabric make-up bags, too!}. I enjoy intentional interaction with my customers & strive for the highest quality of customer service.

When I’m not sewing or designing, I’m almost always busy entertaining my two year old daughter or spending time with my husband. We love getting away to the beach & enjoy grilling parties with friends on the weekend.
