Craft Show // Southlake Carroll Senior High School

Craftshow3
Phhhhuuu, what a weekend! I had my first two-day-show at Southlake Carroll Senior High School, and it was exhausting. I came home so sore and tired that by 7pm my eyelids just shut themselves and I went to bed (normally that NEVER happens!).

So, yea this show was fun. I made a few new friends and received some quite amazing feedback for my jewelry pieces (Thank you ladies, you know who you are!)

For this show I made a few bestseller items, like the Swallow Love Bracelet, the Bow Necklace and the Bow Stud earrings. Also, while I was at the show I made this new pair of Green Chalcedony Watermelon Tourmaline drops… (available soon)

I also finished this Oxidized Sterling Silver and Moonstone earring last week, what do you think should I add it to my shop?

So, here is my review and rating for this Craft show:

Review & Rating:

  • Show Name: Southlake Carroll PTO Craft Fair
  • Location: Southlake, TX
  • Number of Vendors: about 200
  • Space size: 6×10 feet
  • Space price: Regular Registration $150 ~ $175 Late Registration
  • Electricity: available at an additional fee
  • Security: Police officers available
  • Lunch menu: Chicken or Beef burritos + Nachos, Salsa and a bottle of water ($8) – I did not like my chicken burritos, because I requested NO onions and cheese (because I am Lactose intolerant) and it was still added.
  • Parking: available behind the school
  • Helping Volunteer: Be prepared to help yourself! Very limited help available!
  • Visitors: 3500+
  • Recommendation: Yes, it is a great show to participate. However, like at most shows this one had a lot of jewelry vendors. But if you stand out with unique items you’ll be just fine. I hope to be able to sign up for this show again next year.
